COHORT 4 ADMISSIONS - OVERVIEW OF OPERATIONS AND STRATEGY FOR JOINING THE VIET NAM INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL CENTER (VIFC)

Following the success of the first three cohorts, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), in cooperation with the Executive Agency of the Viet Nam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC), is officially opening admissions for Cohort 4 of the training program on VIFC.

The course is designed to update participants on the latest changes from Resolution 222/2025/QH15 and the closest guiding decrees (Decrees 323, 324, and 329). It equips organizations with the core competencies needed to ready themselves to join the "One center, two destinations" model in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS

The program is specifically designed for:

• Mid-level leaders and managers at current and prospective VIFC member units.
• Specialists in charge of strategy, legal affairs, investment, finance, technology, operations, risk management, and business development at current and prospective VIFC member units.
• Individuals looking to learn about and prepare to join the VIFC ecosystem.

CORE TRAINING CONTENT

The course offers a practical perspective through case study analysis, covering 09 topics closely aligned with global financial trends around:

1. Overview & Legal Framework: Global IFC operating structures; legal framework and development orientation for VIFC.
2. Market & Institutions: Capital, money, and derivatives market structures; the role of intermediary institutions and the 24/7 trading floor model.
3. Financial Innovation: Fintech ecosystems, Sandboxes, crypto products, digital assets, and Tokenization.
4. Governance & Strategy: International standards on anti-money laundering (AML) and risk management; positioning, cooperation, and participation strategies for VIFC.
