On October 9, 2026, Mr. Truong Minh Huy Vu, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Chairman of the Executive Board of the Viet Nam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC), chaired a working session with Nguyen Hoang Group (NHG).

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Vo Minh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Vo Thi Trung Trinh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center; and Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, Chairman and CEO of Nguyen Hoang Group.

During the session, NHG introduced its development strategy in education, healthcare, and technology. The group expressed its interest in exploring investment opportunities, key policies, and operational mechanisms related to VIFC-HCMC, aiming to participate in projects that align with its long-term strategy.

Starting in the information technology sector in 1999, Nguyen Hoang Group has built a large educational network with 36 campuses across 16 provinces and cities, serving more than 99,000 learners. From 2026, NHG plans to shift toward an investment group model, focusing on three core areas: Education, Healthcare, and Technology.

Under this new direction, NHG wants to access the list of projects for which Ho Chi Minh City is seeking investment, especially initiatives tied to the Viet Nam International Financial Center. The group is particularly interested in learning about policies, participation requirements, and investment procedures. This information will help NHG evaluate and select suitable projects that match its resources and experience.

In addition to direct investments, NHG highlighted its technology solutions and willingness to join the city’s digital transformation programs. These include systems for data management, land management, and digital education. Such areas can support the city's need for digital infrastructure, modern technology, and high-quality human resources, while encouraging private sector participation in Ho Chi Minh City's investment and innovation ecosystem.
