VIFC-HCMC WELCOMES THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE (NYSE) DELEGATION TO EXCHANGE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE ON THE STOCK MARKET

On the afternoon of September 16, 2026, the Executive Agency of the Viet Nam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC), hosted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Huan, Vice Chairman of the Executive Agency, held a meeting with representatives from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and delegates from Sovico Group, HDBank, and HD Securities. The meeting aimed to exchange information and international experience in the stock market field.

At the meeting, the NYSE representative, Mr. Alex Hong, Co-Head of APAC Capital Markets at NYSE, introduced the operating model, trading activities, and ecosystem of the NYSE. He also shared experiences in market development, supporting listed companies, and connecting with the international investor community.

The topics presented during the discussion included investor relations support services, data access and market analysis, investor networking, and consulting services for listed companies.

These insights provided a practical view of the operating model and service ecosystem of an international stock exchange. They also opened up opportunities to connect and share experiences in researching, building, and developing the capital market at VIFC-HCMC, including access to the operating practices and international network of the NYSE.

The meeting took place in an open and professional atmosphere, with the participation of specialized departments from VIFC-HCMC, the NYSE, and units of Sovico Group.
